A thorough assessment of your symptoms, how you move and how your neck feels will enable us to create a specific treatment plan for you. Below is a summary of how we typically help people with neck pain.
It is critical to understand the source of your symptoms and the factors that have caused your neck to become painful in the first place.
Surgery can be stressful and worrying. Initially we will help you to understand the process of getting you back to full fitness.
Hands on treatment can often reduce pain and allow more pain free daily activities. It is important to do this alongside rehabilitation which gets to the root cause of the problem.
Two things that are vital in the long-term solution for neck pain, are good movement and good posture. If the neck and surrounding areas are stiff, then you are at risk of the problem returning. If your posture is poor, then this will also add stress to the area. We will ensure that you have a long-term exercise programme to address both.
